Chaos, Politics and People’s Lives:

Health and Payment Reform

Controversies and Considerations

Betty Rambur, PhD, RN, FAAN

Routhier Endowed Chair for Practice and

Professor of Nursing, University of Rhode Island

Health care reform – it’s been top of mind for many of us.  How it might change, what those changes might look like, how it will impact nursing, patients, and medical systems.

Dr. Rambur’s expertise and areas of interest include health and payment reform, workforce redesign within value-based models, health economics and ethics, insurance rate setting, and cost-containing health innovations.

We invite nurses, healthcare professionals, and anyone interested in learning more about the changing landscape of health reform to join us for an informative afternoon.

3.5 hours of Continuing Nursing Education (CNEs) will be awarded to those who attend entire program and complete evaluation.  Learners will be able to describe the impact of health care reform: how it might change, what those changes might look like, how it will impact nursing, patients, and medical systems.
