NMONL-NMHA Nursing Leadership Spring Conference:

Engagement & Culture – The Future of New Mexico Nursing

two nationally known keynote speakers:

Bob Dent, President of American Organization of Nurse Executives (AONE) & author

Tanya Lord, Director of Patient and Family Engagement Center,

Foundation for Healthy Communications, New Hampshire.

Topics will include:

·        Professional Governance in a Culture of Ownership

·        Organizational HIINovation Presentations

·        Empower, Engage, Include: Patient and Family Engagement – Why and How?

Invite Your Patient/Family Partners (Advisors, Stakeholders, Patient Experience Professionals)

to the 1-5 PM Afternoon Session with Tanya Lord,

who will share her message of Empower, Engage, Include - Patient and Family Engagement and the steps needed to put your organization on that pathway.

Cost $30. Each additional partner from the same organization will receive a $10 discount after the first partner registers.

 

The New Mexico Hospital Association Approved Provider Unit is an Approved Provider of Continuing Nursing Education by New Mexico Nurses Association CNE Accredited Approver Unit, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. 

Up to 6.0 Continuing Nursing Education Hours will be available.

 

HIIN Hospital Scholarships – HIIN hospitals are eligible for a limited number of scholarships that will include mileage reimbursement to and from the conference, and one night hotel stay (for Scholarship application and specifics, please contact Lcaba@nmhsc.com).
