As health care reform creates pressure to improve individual health outcomes, as well as improve population health,
nursing is positioned to be an important leader/contributor to that work.

Nurses represent the largest health care provider group, and subsequently are the largest opportunity to improve health.

Nursing, at its core, has a history of helping patients identify and improve their basic health needs.

This program will provide participants with the ideas and tools needed to articulate the value of nursing
in both clinical and financial settings.

Registration fee: $75

Continuing education will be awarded to those who attend entire program and complete evaluations regarding objectives.

The learner will be able to: 1) articulate factors affecting the current healthcare environment and drivers for the future; 2) discuss the role of nurses in building a culture of health; 3) incorporate specific ideas and tools into their conversations related to communicating the value of nursing.
