A diverse nursing workforce is one that can support the well-being of the whole community.

New Mexico has a very diverse general population.  But how are we doing in also having a diverse nursing population?  How best can this be achieved?  Explore this most crucial issue and join in the conversation with your academic and practice colleagues.


We invite all nurses and healthcare professionals from the academic and practice arenas to join us June 12-13.  Register now.

2017 Nursing Excellence Awards

The purpose of the New Mexico Nursing Excellence Awards is to recognize excellence in nursing practice and honor nurses for the contributions they make to their organizations, communities, and the state.  Created by nurses for nurses, the Nursing Excellence Awards have honored over 2,300 New Mexico nurse nominees since its creation in 2005.

This year's event will take place Saturday, October 21 at the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa.

2017 Nightingale Nursing Scholarships

We are pleased to announce the fifteen recipients of $1,000 scholarships!

Winners are nursing students from around New Mexico pursuing all levels of study - from associate to graduate degrees.
