New Mexico Center for Nursing Excellence

The New Mexico Center for Nursing Excellence (NMCNE) is a 501(c) 3, non-profit
organization established in July, 2002. The Center is a unique organization, as
its primary focus is improving the nursing workforce in New Mexico.

Its strength lies in the diversity of its Board of Directors, which consists of nurse executives, nurse educators, nursing associations, and other stakeholders representing all of New Mexico.   This diverse gathering of nursing leaders and stakeholders results in a broad, more inclusive agenda and coordinated priorities for limited resources.
